Calendar of Events - March 2010

• Tuesday, Mar 9th, 6:30 pm: ExComm Meeting and Dinner. Join us for a short (very short) business meeting and then dinner at Piazza Wine Bar and Pizza, 806 Village Center Drive (off Rockrimmon and Vindicator). The Piazza is a sister restaurant of Sonterra Grill, Slayton and Salsa Brave, all which are premier Colorado Springs restaurants. We should be in for a good meal here! • Saturday, Mar 13th, 1:00 pm: Main Monthly Meeting - Peterson Air & Space Museum. Join your fellow Men-sans at Peterson Air Force Base to visit the ever-expanding Air & Space Museum and learn about the rich aviation and space history of the city of Colorado Springs. The museum features two indoor display buildings and an airpark with 16 aircraft and 6 missiles. The museum is located at 150 East Ent Avenue on Peterson AFB; the web-site is: www.petemuseum.org. Please note that access to Peter-son AFB is limited; if you do not have a valid DoD ID, please contact Sandy at 538-5483 or mandshalby@comcast.net a few days prior to this event so entry arrangement can be made. Otherwise, please meet at the Museum at 1:00 pm.
  
  
• Monday, Mar 15th, 8:30 pm: Deadline for Culture-Quest®! If you‟d like to participate in CultureQuest® this year, let Sandy know by this date/time.
  
  
• Tuesday, Mar 16th, 6:00 pm: Trivia at TGI Fridays! We're playing NTN Buzztime Trivia at T.G.I. Friday's, 7061 Commerce Center Drive (I-25 and Woodman). Good eats, good prices, and plenty of TVs to look at and control boxes to play with. Look for a Mensa “M” flag at a table in the bar and join us for a fast paced Trivia round!
  
  
• Thursday, Mar 18th, 8:00 pm: RSVP for Poker Night. Call Dave and Jen at 442-6451 to RSVP, directions and other specifics about this event!
  
  
• Saturday, Mar 20th, 6:00 pm: Poker Night. Dave and Jen will host a just-for-fun nickel-dime-quarter poker game at their house. Beginners are welcome. Snacks and diet so-das will be provided. Bring your own drinks if you want something else. Adults only, please! Allergy alert – friendly dogs and cats. If we don't have at least 5 players by Thursday evening, we may cancel and go to Cripple Creek instead.
  
  
• Sunday, Mar 21st, 3:00 pm: Mensa Admission Testing. We will be conducting Mensa Admission Testing at the East Library, East Conference Room II, 5550 North Union Blvd, Colorado Springs. Registration will be from 3:00 pm to 3:15 pm, with testing starting at 3:15 pm. Please contact Sandy at 528-5483 or mandshalby@comcast.net for details.
  
  
• Thursday, Mar 25th, 8:00 pm: RSVP for Ultimate Saturday Supper due! Call Al at 635-4910 to RSVP for Ulti-mate Saturday Supper at the Fox and Hound Pub!
  
  
• Saturday, Mar 27th, 6:30 pm: Ultimate Saturday Supper. View halloo! We're after the Fox in March, the Fox and Hound Pub and Grille, that is, at 3101 New Center Point. The pub offers a broad menu of mid-priced appetizers, entrees, and deserts served in generous portions, along with a full-service bar and a wide selection of foreign beers! Please call Al by the 25th for a seat at the table!
